Unifeeder is looking for an Operations and Stowage Coordinator for our recently established Americas regional office in Panama.

We have recently established services in the Americas and with continued growth aspirations and ambitions of becoming the market leader within our field in Americas, we are searching for colleagues to join this exciting journey with us.
As Operations and Stowage Coordinator, you will hold an integral role as you will coordinate port- and terminal calls, communicate with external agents, as well as arrange and execute stowage plans for the approx. 4 - 8 vessels Unifeeder operates in the Americas.

You will join our recently established office in Panama and a team which will initially consist of approx. 6 people. You will also be working closely together with colleagues located at our office in Aarhus, Denmark as well as departments across the Unifeeder Group.

Your areas of responsibility will be:

•    Daily coordination between internal departments to ensure effective and timely planning. 
•    Daily coordination with third-party agents. 
•    The creation of vessel stowage plans and the sub-sequent communication with vessel command.
•    Hands on planning of terminal operation for Unifeeder vessels.
•    Optimization and analysis of vessel performance during sea-passage and port stays. 
•    Follow up on terminal operations, to identify areas of improvements.  

What about you? 

To succeed in this role we expect that you have a maritime background or knowledge of the industry. We are looking for a candidate who has profound knowledge within container vessels and stowage, and who is familiar with systems Navis and Seacos/Stowman. Further, due to local legislation you must be a national or legal resident of the country of assignment.

•    Are a real team player: able to effectively share responsibilities and cooperate with the team and organization, across different countries and cultures.
•    Full professional proficiency in Spanish and English
