Student Assistant - Group Procurement

Your areas of responsibility

As a Student Assistant in Group Procurement, you will participate in further developing procurement processes across the Unifeeder Group, follow-up on sourcing activities, and work with various procurement analysis tools, reporting and optimization initiatives. As you grow your competencies with us, we will develop your task portfolio within the responsibility of Group Procurement e.g.:

  • Follow up on action plans with the local procurement teams
  • Be involved in developing, refining, and introducing new procurement tools
  • Participate in the contract negotiation process
  • Assist in execution of Strategic Projects

 

Who are you?

You will ideally finish your cand.merc. within international business, supply chain management or similar educational background within the coming 2 years. You are curious about how Procurement can add value to the business and want to apply your theoretical knowledge in a market leading global business within the fast-paced Shipping and Logistics industry.

Furthermore, the ideal candidate:

  • Is fluent in English (verbal and written) at a professional level
  • Have great attention to detail and a structured analytical approach
  • Have good communication skills to sufficiently communicate and deliver Procurement reporting in a clear and user-friendly way for everyone in the organization to understand
  • Enjoy working in a small team and collaborating with your colleagues across geographies
    Most importantly, you want to make an impact with a proactive and creative approach, and you have the mindset and drive to kickstart your career with a steep learning curve.
