The Hamburg Wasser World Triathlon is “the world's biggest tri” as per the International Triathlon Union (ITU)! For the 17th time this event took place on 14th and 15th July.
There were 10,500 participants and 250,000 spectators cheering along the course, which gave the triathlete’s so much positive energy. The packed and inspiring course leads you through the beautiful city center along Alster, Elbchaussee and ending up at the Rathausmarkt.
There are just a handful of triathlon events out there that seem to make nearly every triathlete’s bucket list, Hamburg is one of it, lucky us, that we could sign up for this event.
So this past sunny Sunday two Unifeeder teams decided to take the Olympic distance (swim 1.5km, bike 40km, run 10km) to relay together with the colleagues. It was such an incredible and fun experience for everyone. Doing sports together is a great thing for a lot of reasons, being it about staying healthy, having fun together or striving to improve your own performance.
