Unifeeder A/S – Shortsea is currently seeking an experienced Sales Manager to join our team in Poland, focusing on sales activities for Europe East.

You will join a team of 3 sales colleagues, bringing a range of ages and backgrounds together, all committed to fostering a supportive team spirit, open collaboration, and constructive challenges. Our team’s primary focus is to generate new profitable sources of income through new business acquisition and organic growth within the short sea and multimodal products.
As our new Sales Manager in the Polish region, you will manage end-to-end sales processes in close cooperation with Customer Service, reporting to the Sales Manager – Team Leader in Poland.
You will also collaborate with Tender Management to craft competitive responses to tenders, actively contributing to winning new business and promoting Unifeeder A/S – Shortsea as the top choice.
The preferred job location is Katowice, but we offer flexibility for the right candidate to work remotely from south of Poland. Travel within Central Europa is required (est. 100+ travelling days annually). We seek a candidate already based in Poland, and proficiency in Polish is essential.

Key responsibilities
- Generating and qualifying leads for potential new customers.
- Support the team in developing and executing sales strategies.
- Handle all activities of planning, preparing, and conducting virtual and face-to-face meetings with potential new customers.
Key tasks and responsibilities include:
- Collaborate with relevant internal stakeholders, e.g., Customer Service and Product, during the sales process.
- Share leads with colleagues for further follow-up.
- Ensure a high-quality handover/onboarding of customers with Customer Service.
- Share market insights to contribute to the development of pricing structures.
- Maintain and update CRM regularly.
- Create sales and market reports regularly, including your sales activities and pipeline.
- Attend weekly sales meetings.
- Attend exhibitions and conferences as needed.
Who are you?
You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in sales within freight forwarding, shipping, or a similar field.
Additionally, we expect you to have:
- Proficiency in English and Polish at a negotiation level (both verbal and written).
- Strong knowledge of MS Office packages.
- Previous experience working with CRM systems.
You also bring:
- A positive and driven mindset with a flexible approach to problem-solving.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-driven, independent, and simultaneously a team player.
- A hunter and winning attitude, with strong negotiation skills.
