Working in the Accounting team at Unifeeder

As a Credit Risk Specialist, you will ensure compliance with our Credit Policy and serve as a Credit Risk partner across the organization, embedding risk considerations into decision-making, especially when onboarding new customers. You will conduct credit assessments of customers in close collaboration with our Shared Service Center, including setting and reviewing credit limits and recommending risk mitigations.

You will be part of a diverse team of 14 colleagues (6 in Aarhus, 5 in Cyprus, 3 in Poland), all dedicated to maintaining a supportive team spirit, fostering open collaboration, and embracing constructive challenges.

This position is based at our headquarters in Aarhus, Denmark, with an expectation of maximum travel (estimated 5-10 days annually). We seek candidates already residing in Denmark. You will report to Michael Christensen, Accounting Manager, Accounting & Controlling.

Key responsibilities 

• Lead in developing further credit risk management at Unifeeder and participate in decision-making in this area
• Supervise our AR department in the Shared Service Center, including AR processes and customer master data
• Handle escalations and disputes regarding credit issues
• Act as the contact person for external credit report providers and debt collection firms
• Collaborate closely with Key Account Manager functions, analyze customer credit ratings, and share data/input for decision-making

Who are you?

You hold an AP Degree in Financial Management (Finansøkonom), have a background as Finance Trainee in a large company, or possess similar qualifications, with 3-5 years of experience in credit management in a similar position within a large b2b company.

Additionally, we expect you to have:

• General accounting skills, including basic accounting like debit/credit
• Experience with process management
• User experience with Navision or Business Central is an advantage but not a must

Your also bring:

• A positive and flexible mindset with an analytical and structured approach to problem-solving

• Excellent collaborative and interpersonal skills, comfortable engaging with a broad range of contacts within the company, and proactively seeking out stakeholders both internal and external
• A self-driven attitude with the ability to make decisions and prioritize tasks
• Fluency in English (both verbal and written)
