Working with IT Technology at Shipping Solutions

Shipping Solutions is in a strong position when it comes to supporting the business with excellent IT and business-focused digital solutions, and the company has ongoing ambitions to further capitalize on technology as the network continues its global expansion.

As part of this journey - but definitely not limited to this project - the organization is also preparing for an ERP transformation, where the current Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision) platform will be replaced by Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, with implementation planned for January 2027.

The list of needs and wishes covers many other digitization openings, and you will be responsible for the delivery, performance, and development of DP World Shipping Solutions’ finance platform landscape, covering both the current platform and the future target platform.

Key responsibilities 

The new Product Manager will:

• Own the finance platform technology landscape, including systems, integrations, and data, with a strong focus on stability, resilience, and continuous improvement
• Be accountable for technology deliverables across the current and future finance platform, ensuring that issues are resolved effectively and sustainably
• Define and evolve the platform roadmap and priorities in line with business needs and IT strategy
• Lead the technology track of the finance platform transformation
• Ensure that the current platform is supported, maintained, and continuously improved
• Translate business needs into platform capabilities and technical deliverables in collaboration with Finance, IT, vendors, and partners
• Be accountable for platform performance, reliability, and technology quality
• Manage relevant vendors and external partners supporting platform delivery and development
• Act as the main technology counterpart for the finance platform, ensuring clear communication of priorities, risks, and progress
• Drive standardization, scalability, and the reduction of manual work across the platform landscape

Who are you?

We expect the successful candidate to:

• Have a relevant educational background (e.g., MSc in IT, Computer Science, or similar) and solid experience from a similar role
• Proven experience in platform, product, or technology ownership, ideally within finance, ERP, or other business-critical environments
• Understanding of enterprise platforms across applications, integrations, and data
• Ability to translate business needs into clear technology deliverables and priorities
• Be comfortable working across multiple teams and vendors to drive delivery
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and collaboration skills
• Familiarity with ERP platforms and related finance applications
• Be self-driven and structured, with the ability to balance current platform stability and future platform development
• Have good communication skills in English
