DP World Shipping Solutions (formerly Unifeeder A/S) is seeking a proactive and customer-focused Customer Service Agent to join our Customer Service team in Hamburg, Germany.
In this position, you’ll act as the primary customer interface for our Shortsea container shipping services, ensuring smooth operations and excellent service delivery across Europe.
Working in the Customer Service Team – Multimodal Solutions (Shortsea)
As a Customer Service Agent, you will support our core business — coordinating shipments, managing customer relationships, and ensuring seamless cargo flow.
You will work closely with internal operations, inland transport, and commercial teams, as well as directly with customers and agents, to make sure our logistics services are delivered efficiently and professionally.
This is a full-time, on-site position based in our Hamburg office, offering exposure to international customers, complex operational processes, and opportunities to grow your logistics career within a global organization.
The team consists of 17 members + 2 managers. You will report to Caroline Koenig, the Customer Service Supervisor and Yulia Moritz, the Customer Service Manager for Central Europe.

Key responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customers — ensuring timely and professional communication
- Manage bookings and order fulfillment, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines
- Coordinate end-to-end cargo flow across sea, truck, and rail transport modes
- Resolve customer and operational issues efficiently to maintain service continuity
- Ensure all customer data, documentation, and invoices are handled accurately and compliantly
- Collaborate closely with internal functions such as operations, equipment control, finance, and sales
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying service challenges and recommending solutions

- Have experience in customer service within logistics and transport
- Understand sea and inland transport processes (truck/rail interface knowledge is desirable)
- Be skilled in multitasking and coordination
- Work effectively with IT systems, booking platforms, and Microsoft Office tools
- Demonstrate accuracy, attention to detail, and a solution-oriented mindset
- Show resilience under pressure and commitment to delivering outstanding customer experiences
- Communicate clearly and confidently in English (German proficiency is a strong advantage)
