Marketing Manager

Aarhus, Denmark

Reporting to the Shortsea Business Director, the Marketing Manager will be responsible for the overall marketing and lead generation strategy. The position will specifically ensure adequate presence and visibility to drive the digital channel performance.

This role will generate customer interest and demand through brand awareness initiatives and will focus on generating, capturing and nurturing business leads through various marketing campaigns.

The responsibilities include developing our marketing activities in alignment with our sales processes. The ideal candidate has a creative mindset and can produce content in various formats and designs for use primarily on digital platforms. Experience within inbound/content marketing and landing-page personalisation is a must. The right candidate will be fairly detail-oriented and organised, capable of handling multiple ongoing initiatives at the same time and changing priorities. Outstanding communication skills are essential, both for supplier interactions and internal alignment.

Successful applicants will have experience using marketing automation tools and sales CRM systems, as well as a proven ability to create high-quality content that attracts interest.

Key responsibilities

  • Good knowledge of B2B marketing and sales processes
  • Good knowledge of digital marketing channels such as LinkedIn Campaigns, SEO, AdWords, etc.
  • Good knowledge of web content management systems (Sitecore), marketing automation tools and CRM systems.
  • Good knowledge of Adobe Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro)
  • Experience within content creation in various shapes, designs and forms
  • Good command of written and verbal English. Basic knowledge of Danish is an advantage, both written and verbal.

  • The successful candidate will play an important part in the company‚Äôs transition to a digitally advanced, logistic player. He/she will ensure continuous improvement of our user experiences and customer journeys. As Marketing Manager, you will help facilitate the conversion of prospects into leads and leads into loyal customers. We are looking for a confident, independent, self-starting, agile person who enjoys being in charge and is comfortable with trying new things. We believe he/she has a degree in business, marketing, communications or related fields and at least 3-5 years of relevant work experience.
