The primary focus of the position as Lead Generation Specialist is to improve the processes of lead generation for the commercial department of Unifeeder’s Shortsea business. This by hands-on lead generation as well as analytics expertise to seek out new client opportunities and expand opportunities with former clients to build a qualified sales pipeline.
To succeed in building a more effective lead generation funnel, your job will consist of both an analytical part and a sales operational part. Analytical by defining the best setup and set of tools – and operational by your hands-on involvement in the continuing work of contacting, qualifying and developing qualified sales leads to the Shortsea sales organisation.
You provide efficient business development support to the sales teams involved in direct customer engagement from lead activities and from digital inbound marketing activities – in order to identify and qualify all the potential leads which has trade scope interest and service requirements aligned with the Unifeeder Shortsea product offerings.
You will define the focus to accelerate growth through lead development from targeted web search, scientific databases, and generated data and thereby being able to participate in closing new business engagements.
You will work directly with management to define lead development setup by using both analytical tools, consulting techniques and effective communication. You will also support the development and delivery of the regional data and analytics for the sales plan targeting new client wins.
As educational background, you are expected to have a relevant educational platform within marketing, logistics or economics at minimum bachelor level.
You have 2-3 years of experience from a similar position and/or operational experience from analytical database telemarketing. It is crucial that your experience includes general insights of process tools and operational experience from inbound sales/presales and research in databases.
On the personal level you will find that analytical skills are needed to succeed, and great communication skills will support you well. A driven and enthusiastic character with the ability to communicate in a clear and motivating manner.
You possess a significant personal drive and you have a natural talent for bringing data analysis to practical efficiency in optimization and implementation. You create motivation and positivity to all your colleagues, and you know how to understand a business area and make it even more successful. You are data-driven and structured – however, also impatient by nature, wanting to make things happen. Lastly, you have a natural ability to persuade people to join in the changes needed.
