The shipping industry transports approximately 90% of the world’s trade, so as an intern at Unifeeder the world is your place of work where you will gain hands-on experience with logistics and shipping all the while connecting your theoretical knowledge to real situations.
We expect you to bring initiative, passion and a high degree of independence to the table and in return, we will encourage and support you on a daily basis in order for you to reach your professional goals and prepare you for a career in shipping.
At Unifeeder HQ in Aarhus, you will join the Capacity Management team in the Network Business Unit. The Capacity Management department is responsible for the tactical and operational network design and execution within Northern Europe. The objective is to deliver the most cost-efficient production platform while meeting the service requirements of the two commercial business units (Feeder & Shortsea), and furthermore to act as a support function to the sales process in both business units.
Capacity Management is placed in the very center of Unifeeder and is in daily contact with numerous internal and external stakeholders.
It will be possible to start early after your exchange program and become a full time ‘summer student’ at our office in Copenhagen before beginning your internship in Aarhus, and from September continue as a student worker alongside your internship in Aarhus.
Unifeeder pays for your accommodation during your assignment in Aarhus.
Read more about your future workplace on www.unifeeder.com and send your application and CV marked "Internship Aarhus" to firstname.lastname@example.org no later than October 31st. We will conduct interviews in November. For further information, please contact Søren Heegaard at email@example.com.
