The position as Corporate Equipment & Intermodal Manager is a new definition for Unifeeder, connecting the important operational areas of Equipment and Intermodal Control in the same “Fleet management”, under the control of one manager.

As part of the same process, Unifeeder wish to ensure a greater strategic focus and management of one of the most extensive cost areas in Unifeeder, hence the position will cover full responsibility from defining possible areas of strategic development to setting the tactical focus and performing operational leadership of teams in Denmark and Poland.

As Corporate Equipment & Intermodal Manager, you will play an important role in the streamlining and optimization of the area. You are expected to provide Unifeeder with firm stewardship as well as knowledge, analytical power and project management skills on Equipment fleet size management, Contract Management and Business Development of the full area of Equipment operations.

 

Ambitious Equipment professional with analytical power and fleet management insight

Your educational background could have more than one direction, however you are expected to have a solid and relevant theoretical and analytical foundation as well as a number of years as logistics professional. If you furthermore come with a background within land-based transportation and/or container-management this might add a strong asset.

It is crucial that your experience includes general insight into and understanding of “Fleet Management” in shipping/logistics/transportation, with at least 3–5 years of successful experience from a management position within the area.

Analytical skills are needed to succeed, and Project Management skills better than average will support you well. Change Management and Stakeholder Management skills are important – along with a clear and focused “Cost ownership behavior”.

You possess a significant personal drive and you have a natural talent for bringing analysis to efficiency in optimization, purchasing and negotiating. You are outgoing and inspire confidence in people, and you know how to exploit the area and making it even more successful. You are data-driven and structured – however also restless by nature and the one who make things happen.
