Team Lead, Finance Controlling

Aarhus, Denmark

Reporting to and working in close collaboration with the Unifeeder North Finance Director, you will be responsible for leading, coordinating and developing the Unifeeder controlling team. The team is responsible for a number of central processes and complex financial controlling projects, and for a portfolio of tasks within both closures, reporting and the ongoing financial statements. As the Team Leader, you will play a central role in Unifeeder’s continuing development of the financial controlling area and through your efforts create stable and continuous visibility, and an accurate picture of the financial state. You will be part of a professional and highly dynamic environment with a strong, positive and performance-oriented culture, and you will work with very talented colleagues, who work in a targeted fashion aimed at the continuous development of Unifeeder and the company’s products.
You will be the professional leader and beacon for the department’s continued development, and you are expected to provide your colleagues with extensive professional competence, an overview and dynamic and coordinating abilities.
 

The successful professional profile

Your educational background is not crucial, but you clearly must have a relevant theoretical foundation within financial controlling, such as possess an MSc in Business Economics and Auditing or a Graduate Diploma in Accounting, and you have experience in complex controlling in an accountancy company and/or an international company and financial controlling has been the central focus. You have an obvious talent for leadership, are ambitious, have a positive impact on those around you and take a team-oriented approach to your tasks. You must certainly have already developed your insight into management of a team, alternatively you possess a significant talent for management, having gained some experience from leading from the front and from managing efforts and prioritizing.
 
In addition, you are expected to recognize several of the following characteristics within your work and your approach to your tasks:
 
  • Natural flair for creating improvement and for optimising processes.
  • Ability and desire to work with different IT tools.
  • A sense of responsibility, analytical, systematic and structured.
  • Able to examine the details – but at the same time maintain an overview, progress and direction.
  • Ability to deal with several deadlines at the same time.
  • Thrive in a dynamic working environment and possess the ability to adapt to an environment that is undergoing constant development and change.
  • Possess excellent ability to communicate and collaborate.
