St Petersburg – waiver of Reefer Congestion Surcharge at the First Container Terminal

The above mentioned surcharge was initially implemented on 21.09.2008 by the terminal First Container Terminal as a consequence of the increasing dwell times for reefers being stored at the terminal.

The First Container Terminal now confirms that the surcharge will be removed, and effective 05.06.2009 it will no longer be applicable.

We are confident that the elimination of this surcharge will positively stimulate the reefer volumes to St Petersburg.
