Conditions of Carriage - Forwarder's Declaration

All carriage of cargo is performed in accordance with the terms and conditions of the relevant Unifeeder Non-Negotiable Combined Transport Bill of Lading.

In the event of any discrepancy between these Conditions of Carriage and the Unifeeder Non-Negotiable Combined Transport Bill of Lading, the former shall prevail.

The Merchant undertakes that any and all information provided by the Merchant or any of his agents or servants to the Carrier and/or his agents or servants pertaining to the description of the cargo is correct, including but not limited to its weight, measure, quality, quantity, condition and contents.

The Merchant undertakes to indemnify the Carrier and hold the Carrier harmless for any and all consequences of the description of the cargo provided by the Merchant, his agents or servants to the Carrier, his agents or servants, being in any way incorrect, unclear or incomplete or of the goods being incorrectly marked or declared.

Such consequences include, but are not limited to, customs duties and other duties, taxes, charges, fees and fines being levied on the Carrier by the relevant authorities at St Petersburg.

The Carrier shall not be liable towards the Merchant for any loss, cost or expense, suffered or incurred by the Merchant as a result of the description of the cargo being incorrect as set out in item 4 above, including but not limited to seizure, confiscation and/or destruction of the cargo by the authorities in St Petersburg and/or any damage, loss or deterioration of the cargo sustained during such confiscation or seizure.

These Conditions of Carriage shall be subject to Danish law and any and all disputes arising hereunder shall be referred to the Maritime and Commercial Court of Copenhagen.

By his signature below, the Merchant expressly accepts these Conditions of Carriage.
